Design Process Management

At Endeavor Engineering we have experience in the successful implementation of project design. We have learned to solve some of the non-technical challenges facing the successful completion of a technical project. Typically, the larger the project, the more these non-technical aspects come into play.

Project management and execution of the development process can have a profound effect on the final outcome. For better or worse, people are not completely impartial, objective, and logical in their interactions with the world. Some of the most common sources of failure in project development include the following:

  • Poor communication
  • Honesty and good faith
  • Win-lose arrangements
  • Lack of a high level champion and leadership
  • Unrealistic goals

We have found that a good design process philosophy includes the following:

  • A well thought out sound technical design
  • Sincere Input from all identified project stakeholders
  • Open lines of communication throughout the process
  • Leadership and vision
  • Win-win situations
  • Realistic expectations
  • Documentation of the process and end product
